Hi Everyone
This thing called menopause is horrible and wearing me out.
I am 51 and not had a period for 17 months.
I take femoston to help with the forgetfulness. I used to take eleste duo 2mg and think that was better to keep the anxiety more at bay. Has anyone else experienced that?
I feel anxious all the time and low mood too. I just am not enjoying life at all. I just push every day to get through the day.
I find it so hard as I was always a confident, happy person and I just feel miserable all of the time.
I have odd days I feel OK, but I mean ODD days 2 a month may be.
Is it just me?

No, it's not just you Portugal.... :welcomemm:....good to have you here...
I'm on Femoston Conti, and now it's kicked in, I'm much better, still have blip days, but I'm more like myself now...and the anxiety isn't bad at all now...
Why did you change from the Eleste Duo, ....? ...the Femoston is good, but it took a while to completely kick in for me, ....I'm 4 years post meno....and 54...
If you are sticking with the Femoston, give it time, I was exactly the same as you, everyday a struggle, so hard to raise a smile, and as for the anxiety, it was through the roof!
Hang on in there, it does get better, but it just doesn't happen over night.....
Post away, ask anything you want, we're always here to offer help and support....good luck...

It's The Change - happens to all women and does what it says on the tin.  Some girls don't ever get a period, some have 1/2 then nowt going through girls with 'normal' mensturation followed by fading off of periods.  Then comes peri  ::)

Browse round. Make notes.   :welcomemm:

Thank you to all who sent me a message.
I am not sure how to answer so doing it like this.

Last week had a good few days. This week anxiety, very low mood and tears.
I'm worried when I'm at work as some days not myself.

Is this part of peri?
I hate the up and down of my moods!

Hi you're doing fine.  Keep to the thread when we reply.

Do you keep a mood/food/symptom diary to chart progress?  It gives an idea as to how much might be cyclical.  Good exercise.  Good diet.  'me' time ...... we have threads on most topics here, do dip in and out ;-).

The Change does what it says on the tin  ::) most of it within 'normal limits' .

Good morning

 :welcomemm:

Sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment.
If Elleste duo suited you better would it be possible to go back to that or is this one of the products out of stock ?

Yes Portugal, if you've not had a period for 12 full months, you are Post meno, and NOT peri.
Birdy picked up on that one....👍🏻
