Well done!  What a great spokeswoman you are!  Let's hope the medical community will start to find better treatments for VA or VVA.👏

Hey MJ!

Just had a listen, loving your work.

I had the experience you speak of where on my last smear it really really hurt and neither I or the nurse had a clue why.
I went away sore and thinking she didn't know how to do it properly. This was before I knew the 1st thing about the menopause.

Do you think all women need the topical estrogen cream, as prevention for any future damage? I'm on a low a dose of hrt and vagifem too and things seem ok with that but wondering if I'm missing a trick/treatment.

Also which one would you recommend if yes?

Thanks MJ

I am NO medic but in my opinion all women from a certain age should use local oestrogen unless real reason not to & those reasons are almost non existent.
