Short story is...my original estriol cream was changed to Ovestin by another GP I saw. He was fussing about cost, should keep applicators, which I was anyway, and be prescribed just the cream without a new applicator each time. Idiot still prescribed one with a new applicator in each box!!
Anyway the Ovestin is a tiny tiny dose compared to the full applicator of the other cream. Barely any in comparison but still seems to be working. With this hot weather I've been popping a bit on the outer bits and that feels much better too.
If the other cream is bothering you so much, and I do know the amount that used to seep out all day too, maybe ask for Ovestin.
