F1 - Silverstone Camping company goes bust!

Women are now given their own set of races across the year - of course many are saying that they are wasting their time but I think it's a great idea.  Like minded.  All with 1 aim, to win in a formula of their choice.  I wish them WELL! hopefully there will be some TV coverage.

Why call yourself 'Jamie' if 1 is going to participate in F1  :-\ and the female commentator "She wasn't brave enough to pass there" ......  :bang: :bang: :bang:  at least Allan Macnish was more positive!

Maybe parents thought that if she was called 'Jamie' she would become a racing driver  :-\ ........... it's like girls that are called 'Charlie', obviously the parents wanted a boy  ::)

Big announcement from Silverstone Circuit today.  Apparently they have agreed an amount that F1 will pay the Circuit to run two races, late in July and early August.  Behind closed doors.  Usually F1 charge Silverstone Circuit to 'host' the British Grand Prix.   :-\. Which means the Circuit makes a huge loss.

It's now up to the UK Government to say 'no' or approve.  Which is probably why the French don't have to isolate on their arrive on British shores?  Cynic?  Moi?  Apparently there will be no large motorhomes allowed.  So where will they all sleep, can't see Vettle cosying up with Ricardo ......  :D

Who will sanitise the showers, loos etc..   There will be no traders which helps bring income into the Circuit.  No specators ........

They are also carrying out C-19 testing today ....... wonder where they will be posted to get the results, America again?

If U know of any1 who is intending to camp near Silverstone for the British Grand Prix in 2 week's time, do let them know that 1 of the Companies offering a field is unlikely to be able to host tents/motorhomes/camper vans.  If they have booked with credit card they may be lucky to receive money back in time to find another site, if indeed there will be any space.
