This so apologies if it's in the wrong section! Any help will be much appreciated! I'm 50 in 11 days time and started on Evorel seqi almost 4 weeks ago. I hadn't have any bleed  apart from literally 2 spots( but have read on this site not to worry if there's no bleed) I haven't felt much different really apart from hot flushes seemed to subside a bit. However now they are back together with high anxiety and palpitations. Should I wait to see if things settle down or ask my gp to try another hrt? Also suffering from bloating in the last 2 weeks please help thanks Jayne x

They say you should try it for 3 months before changing. It might be useful to keep a diary so you can see if symptoms come at a certain time in the cycle eg when you're on the prog patches. What dose are you on? My anxiety took 3 months to go though flushes are usually sooner. Anxiety can be caused by too much oestrogen as well as too little. Flushes are from too little but palpitations can be from too much. They may go as your body get used to it. I'd be inclined to wait the 3 months before changing anything. If you felt better on the oestrogen only patches it might be this type of progesterone doesn't suit you.

Thanks so much that's a good idea. Am on Evorel Sequi which I believe is 50 although unsure if that is mg ? This site is full of good info! Many thanks for your reply. Xx
