Hello from Padine
« on: May 05, 2019, 06:12:08 PM »

Hello, I am a returning-newbie and feel very at home reading the posts since I was here last! Looking forward to learning new things, sharing scarey things and offering helpful ideas if I can. I am post-meno  (soon to be 60) and need my HRT as it has changed my life very much for the better. I'm lucky to have a wonderful lady GP who understands my concerns, even tho she looks in her 30s! I just wish I could feel lucky most of the time instead of dwelling too much on my problems. Anyway, hello dear ladies and I hope the weather is sunny where you are right now!

Aww, thank you girls! I know tiredness and poor memory are typical of menopause, but I could sleep from midnight till 9am and still feel reluctant to get out of bed, is that normal for menopausal 59 yr old? My husband is an early riser and cannot understand being in bed for 9 hours and still being tired! When I said it was down to the menopause, he said it can't be after all these years! What does he know???

You wait until mid-night to go to bed!  I get into my bed B4 10.00 and usually asleep by 11.00 .........
