Hi ladies. I've had a bit of a nightmare this week
In a nutshell, I'm currently on 75mg Estradot but I shave a bit off the patch so slightly less than that and had started taking 100mg utrogestan daily (after trying it sequentially for a few months). Unfortunately, I went down with a horrible flu virus this week and I ended up missing one utro capsule and was surprised to see that I had started to bleed the very next day! In my temperature induced daze, I thought I would remove the patch because I thought I didn't want that to cause my lining to start building again - not sure if this was the right thing to do or not.
So things going through my mind now are that 100mg daily might not be protecting my womb lining as I had only been taking it daily for a week and it's turned into a full-on bleed. I don't think I could tolerate 200mg daily but I really want to get away from having a bleed at all.
This will be the 3rd day without patch or utro and I'm still bleeding. Do you think it would be safe to put a patch back on tonight and start taking the utro again?
Your views/advice would be appreciated.
