After I had mine it was a new lease on life never having to worry about bleeding or pain of fibroids, etc., and as for the big O nothing changed there either all good.

It's still major surgery though and as groundhog can testify things can go badly wrong so it has to be considered carefully. Age has a lot to do with it too of course as healing rates slow down as we age. On the plus side I found the op (vaginal) much easier than I thought it would be and only needed paracetamol and ibuprofen as pain relief.

Oh I totally agree taz,every surgery comes with risks,I'd mine done vaginally too and I couldn't believe how quickly I recovered
