Update on bleeding
« on: December 07, 2018, 08:50:18 PM »

Hi ladies.
Been to the doctors today, about the spotting I've had all week.
She didn't seem bothered by it, she just said hrt can cause it, and that she could send me off
for a scan or just leave it alone. She just didn't seem over concerned about it.
She asked how long I'd been on the Sandrena for, and I said since August (I think)
and she said because it wasn't red blood or that it didn't happen straight after intercourse,
then it was probably the hrt.
She asked why I was using the Sandrena along side the femoston, and I said I needed extra oestrogen
without the extra progesterone, because of the side affects , and she said that was fine.
In fact, she does the same thing!
Anyway, I said I'd like to be scanned, just to make sure, she said ok, and that they would measure my
womb lining, and be able to see anything wrong if there was anything wrong....
So, a good result. Now I've just got to wait for an appointment, within two weeks.
I told her I'd stopped the Sandrena for the last few days, as I was worried I was doing myself some damage, but she said no, just carry on with it. (Think I was spooked...lol )
So at least I'll know if everything's ok when I eventually get the scan......

That's a bit of relief for you then jd.main thing is your being monitored and if it's good enough for her it's good enough for you lol.
She actually seems quite a decent doc to be honest.well done.DD😘

Good morning Jillydoll

As DD says it must be a relief for you that your GP wasn't bothered but she agreed to the scan which is reassuring for you.

Hi Everyone.
Just to update you, I'm off for my scan tomorrow.
Just had a phone call to say they can get me in at 4pm.
So, yeah, good one. I only went to see my GP Friday!
I'll let you know how I get on.
