Estelle duet 2mg low mood
« on: November 29, 2018, 10:55:49 PM »

I have been put on esteele duet 2mg from the1mg one as I was having all my symptoms back again of hot sweats , palpitations . Since going on them a couple of weeks ago and taking the estrigen tablets I have felt low mood,  irritable is this normal ? I know I need to give it time for my body to settle . I used to get those feeling only when in the progesterone only tablets in the pack .

Ruby10 received wisdom is to stay with it for 3 months, however, I have to say I never liked elleste and found it the worst hrt I tried (and I've tried most).  Incidentally it's also the cheapest! There are much better options out there and if it were me I'd ditch it and try something else x

I'm on Oestrogel 3 weeks and was up and down but very low now but I suspect my overdue period is due.
I wrote to my hormone doctor and was told it's too soon to expect results and 3 months is always recommended. So whilst it feels counterproductive, I'm gonna push on,
