Completely with Penguin on this one, Jaypo. Very likely to be exactly the same as last time. Easy to say (as i suffer from a bit of the old HA too  ) but try not to worry

Things bad in the colon are slowwwww growing so, if anything, you may have a polyp that needs removing, but the reason they do these tests every 2 years is so they catch things at this stage before they turn into something bad, which takes 5-7+ years (according to my colon doctor). However, I still reckon it's your piles or diverticular. Totally get the health anxiety tho, I'd be the same. Good luck today, please post layer on how you get on x

Thank you ladies. My GI specialist said the same,5 years for anything to take hold.
Eating bland things today 🤢 then the dreaded laxative tomorrow.
Appointment at 11.30 on Friday.

I panicked with first colonoscopy as first dose of laxatives didn't work. Called the hospital, they said second dose would work and gosh it did 🙈💩. Must say I did like that feeling of a nice flat tum when it was all out tho! Thinking of you jaypo xx

I'm having a ct colonography penguin,not so invasive,have taken the picolax and some little bottle of something else,another one at 4pm,boiled sweets for lunch and dinner lol
