Vagifem - metallic taste in mouth
« on: November 01, 2018, 09:16:34 PM »

I've been taking this for about a year but recently I've had a metallic taste in my mouth along with feeling sick. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm unsure if they're both side effects of the meds as I've been on this for so long, or could it be something else entirely?

I haven't but I have only been using it for a month or so.

I've had the metallic taste before and it's a common symptom of a sinus problem.

Nothing to do with Vagifem - much more likely to be sinus issues. DG x

Metallic taste may be a sign that you are low in a mineral.  Also people on chemotherapy often report an altered taste.  I've had treatment for VA and hopefully, it won't migrate that far!

Have you changed your toothpaste recently?
