Congratulations!!

But Maryanne, can you tell me what the ending of the book is (I'll buy it anyway) since I'm desperate right this minute to know how you cured yourself. Did you get better with HRT and Ovestin?

Please help - as I'm in a lot of chronic pain and have been for years. Would appreciate it greatly. Due to go to the doc to ask for Ovestin as I've only just found out about it from this forum.

And again, well done!!

I'm not cured but managed as it says in the book, local oestrogen, HRT, I've had laser treatment, women's health physio.

I always say don't assume it's VA always get checked for lichen sclerosus and any other skin conditions also, we can have LS & VA at the same time.

Gangan that's a good idea re a PDF thingy will think of something, I'm not allowed to mention the name of my web page on here as advertising.

But can spread word via other social media platforms and see if others are up for it. 😊

I've no idea how you do a pdf. I just know it is a way of downloading.  I've got your book with your website printed on the back cover so can jump that barrier  :hapij:

Thank you CLKD 💐 we have our first book shop who are going to stock it🤗 small steps etc.

My GP is taking it to her book club. We now have 32 reviews on amazon 31 5stars and one 3star. So pretty good in two months.

I also know of ladies who have been diagnosed with lichen sclerosus assuming they had thrush. A lady messaged me yesterday saying for every 100 doors you knock on oneau open, it's a numbers gain.

Problem is it take energy that somedays I'm really lacking.😊

You've done your bit for a while  ;).  It's that time of year too  :-\. I can't raise the enthusiasm to get out cards to write this year.

Your gifting is easy this year then  ;D ....... finding appropriate paper might be the difficult part  ;)

There is a book barn in the Midlands that might be keen, they owned/sold ABE books and are now on a farm complex in fabULUS barns with wood burners etc..  If I remember the name  ::)

We hold around 75,000 books, of which about 15,000 are available to buy online via secure payment. CLKD thank you very much for this, it will go on my New Year list. 💐

Sounds a lovely place my daughter book worm & English literature / language teacher would love it there, but now lives in China 😏.

Huge congratulations, just purchased and already reading, so comforting to have this as a resource, seriously well done and thank you.

My menopausal brain may have missed this somewhere, so apologies, but what is the the name of your online support forum for VA. Is this on Facebook, elsewhere or both?

Eleanore B it's FB and called vaginal atrophy, not everyone can find it for some reason.

If you can't mesage me here & I will help via my email.

BTW it does say in the book  but my daughter Penny wrote it, I gave her all the information & told her the style I wanted it in.

Anyone who has read my posts over the year will see I'm simply not up to writing standard.

Hi MaryJane,

Thanks for the group info, will search for it.

How brilliant that you and your daughter could collaborate like that. Congrats to both of you, what a fantastic achievement.

Just read some of the other posts in this thread and realised you have issues with publicity. My gynaecologist is lovely and a big cheese in a large London hospital. Anyway, when I next see her I will give her a copy and tell her it's great and if any of her patients are struggling to recommend it. Others could also tell their gynaecologist if they see one. She told me that often, shockingly, by the time women see her their vagina is in a terribly painful state as they haven't been given the help they need. Word will spread - word of mouth is a powerful thing, just takes time to build.

Has anyone suggested contacting woman's hour on the back of getting the award?
