Just one more question before I go demanding vagifem about the symptoms.

I've got the feeling of needing to wee and soreness/ feeling uncomfortable in the vagina and uretha pressure. Is this enough to justify VA treatment?

As for pain having sex, couldn't say, its been so long 

I asked for it based on similar symptoms (not soreness but irritation mimicking UTI infections). I have it to try for a first month. 1 week in and pleased so far. I just hope that, after the 1st month, the GP won't try to restrict it to a limited period (3 months or so). I need to print something out which indicates that this restriction  is not needed. This one is much better to apply than Estriol cream.

It certainly is enough!   It won't do any harm and at the least you will get relief ;-)

Well ladies I'm off to the docs tomorrow to discuss my scan etc.
I must say that my symptoms have become a lot less noticeable. Not totally gone but better than they were and hopefully will continue to improve.

I'll update once I've been tomorrow but just a question, does VA change from day to day? Some days feel good, others symptoms are there. Still got a bit of soreness in the V but don't feel the intense need to wee constantly.

Bloody hubby not helping things by telling me to do some exercise then I'll feel better. Nearly planted him one!

Just back from docs and got a prescription for vagifem to try. So here goes.
I'm not going to look at side effects as I'm too anxious so I'll no doubt be back with more questions.

Use it every night for 2 weeks.  Then 'as necessary' until you feel comfortable, the advice is to use it every 4th and 6/7th night I think but initially the product was 25 and is now 10.  Some ladies find that occasionally they need 2 doses at night to keep comfy.  Let us know how you get on.  Also remember that a pain relief medication can also ease symptoms, the night after I use Ovestin I get niggles which goes away with Nurofen.

Tbh I'm not totally convinced I need it. I was prepared to wait and see if things settled further but gp shuffled me out without much discussion.

You may have vaginal atrophy. Appropriate treatment should ease symptoms.  What's to lose?  If you are hungry, do you not eat
