hi can any body advise on which testosterone brand you apply pea size amount daily is this testogel ??

i’m currently using tostran alternate days but level is to high so need to reduce to twice a week but feeling out of sorts and wondering wether applying a smaller amount daily would give better consistency

I do a petit pois size blob daily of Tostran, and that’s perfect for me.

I was on tostran too and it was too strong. Now on Testogel sachet and spread a blob on each day  over 14 days.  A bit faffy!

tostran is suiting me i just need to reduce the amount but find i have energy on days i use it but days i don’t feel a bit flat so thinking daily application would be better for me also stop any sort of fluctuation through taking then not then taking then not i mean not sure if this would cause fluctuation but would imagine it would c

Hi Sammiejane,

Yes every day, I didn't like the peaks and troughs I was getting with alternate days.  My gynaecologist OK'd it because it a huge amount less than one pump every other day, which is the dose she first advised.  A canister lasts me over a year, in fact I've never emptied one as it's gone out of date before I've reached the end.

that’s what i’m thinking i certainly feel better on days with tesosterone

when u dispense a pea size blob do u roughly get same amount each time i guess x

i’ve got to have bloods redone on 17th may to see what my levels of tesosterone are as reduced now to 3 times a week and i will mention the daily use . thank u

may i ask what estrogen and progesterone u are on if any ? and how have you found your hair ie any shedding sorry for the questions and thank you for your help

Hi Sammiejane,

This is probably more detail than you need, but anyway here's my routine.  Firstly I squeeze my sachet of Sandrena (1mg) onto the front of my mid thigh and spread that around using the middle finger of my left hand.  Then I partially depress the Tostran pump so it dispenses the petit pots size blob onto the tip of my ring finger of my left hand, which gets rubbed slightly into the skin at the side of my kneecap, sometimes inner, sometimes outer.  If I accidentally dispense too much I don't apply it all & just wipe the excess off my finger with a bit of tissue. 

Wash hands and all done.  Finish getting dressed about 15mins later.

Hair is possibly a bit better than before I was on this regime, but it's difficult to say as my hair is very fine.  Eyebrows and lashes have certainly improved, but that wasn't difficult as they were very poor.
