Hi
You have effectively doubled your dose of oestrogen in one go. That might be too much. If you wanted to try that I would recommend cutting a patch in half and wearing 75 dose. Then, if you need more in a month or so you can increase, but do it slowly. All my mistakes have been from doing things too fast. For example, I recently switched from a compounded cream of all 3 hormones because I was no longer absorbing it. My levels, on testing, were very low all around. I got the gel before I saw my hormone doctor and read the leaflet. It said 2 pumps a day. So I did that. By day 3 I was starting to feel edgy and not quite right. Fortunately I saw my hormone doctor the next day and she immediately said, start on 1 pump a day. I appear to be very sensitive to hormones and so I have to go slow. She was right. I have felt much better since dropping back.
You don't mean cream, you mean Estrogel. You can't buy it but your GP can prescribe it, even if they haven't heard of it, it's there on the list of HRT preparations available for us. Just insist if you want to move away from patches. But for the immediate future, try the patch increase, but slowly.
