You are young - why come off hrt?
5 years of hrt in our mid 50s will help protect your heart and bones for the long term and you are not even at the average age of menopause yet.
The old fashioned view that women should only use hrt for 5 years is now outdated - the new guidelines says that using HRT till 60 is ok but after 60 the risks do start to increase. If your GP is insisting you come off hrt then you need to show them the NICE guidelines.
If however you want to come off hrt for personal reasons then you can do dietary changes to help support your bones and heart but nothing will give the same benefits as hrt at your age.
Plenty of calcium rich foods, vitamin D, magnesium and Fish oils together with regular weight baring exercise is very important. Extra isoflavines in the diet and possibly Red Clover might also be beneficial.
If you are struggling with side effects from the hrt you are using then you could try a different hrt.
