Menopause Matters Mentioned on BBC.
« on: July 24, 2018, 06:19:04 PM »

Hello ladies.

My local BBC news has just broadcast an item about the menopause and this site was suggested as a good place to look for more information. Expect an influx of new members at any moment! CLKD do you have your list of stock responses at the ready lol!

Take care everyone.

Hello jillydoll.

I agree that the forum is the best place to come for help and support. It's been a lifeline for me and still is.

I'm feeling a  bit better this morning thank you, we'll have to see how the day progresses!

Take care.

Hello jillydoll.

How kind you are. I'm not too bad today thank you. Early evening is usually my worst time as tiredness and tension combine and I usually feel panicky for a few hours and then it fades towards bedtime.

Hope you are doing well and surviving the intense heat.

Take care.

Kathleen,
You are describing me!
I too get somewhat uneasy come 4/5pm....don't know why.
Then roughly about 8pm it starts to die off again.
By bedtime, I'm back to normal....(whatever that is...lol)
Sometimes, I think it's my routine, you know, prepare food, cook food,
eat food, clean up......blah blah blah. The same boring thing.
I don't know......
But whatever it is I know just how you feel.....and it's totally predictable,
Sometimes I think it could be tiredness, Maybe it is.....

And this heat is killing me!   Lol. I can't stand it this hot....

Take care Kathleen, maybe we should change our routines and see if that helps...

Hello again jillydoll.

I've also wondered if a change of routine would help. I plan to eat something soothing and nutritious like a smoothie after lunch tomorrow to see if that calms my stomach and stops the jitters and panic from  developing. As usual I was panicky this afternoon but completely fine by 9pm. So frustrating but hopefully we'll find a solution soon.

Take care.
