I haven't been on here long but I've always found your posts informative and sympathetic. All the very best for the future and I hope you enjoy the best health possible. I feel as though we should be signing a card and eating cake!

Bye Daisydot and take care of yourself. Maybe this is not the time to bring it to a head but there have been several ladies over the last couple of days that have remarked that they felt dismissed or put quickly in their place which should never happen on a forum like this when each of us have our own set of problems. Hope at sometime you can return DD you will be missed here.

You can read posts as a guest except for private lives.

Daisydot, I hope you are reading this because I also want to say how sorry I am that you have left MM but completely understand where you are coming from.   It is always such a pity when supportive members like yourself leave.  Wishing you all the very best.

Annika, I agree.

It's a shame Daisydot has left as she was lovely, but I didn't see anyone being put in their place, to be fair.
We all have to cut each other some slack, it's a difficult time for many of us.

I think there comes a time when menopause and reading about it becomes all consuming and you have to make the decision to move on.

Dotty- I think you're right. I'm still learning about it and the various treatments and getting my hrt right so this forum is valuable, and it's good to talk to people in the same boat. But too much focus on it can get you down.

It most certainly can! Especially for those of us that struggle and often have to find novel ways of managing our symptoms due to other health issues. Ideally we would all benefit from HRT. I was sincerely hoping I would this time and have had some great support from some of the ladies here to try to get this to work but we should remember - as I have said time and again - that this forum is called Menopause Mattters, not HRT Matters (but only if it's NHS prescribed), or even Don't Take Antidepressants Even If They Might Save Your Sanity Matters.

Advice should be kind, supportive and warm. Not School Marm-ish - we are not children that need scolding. xxxx

I've had excellent advice and compassion from ladies on here.

Who is scolding or being school Marmish?

Historically, let's just say that I've noticed a few instances......I was a member here previously Dotty, so have been around on and off MM for a while. More recently, I think this is the kind of thing Daisydot was referring to before she left. I shall say no more and am glad that you have greatly benefitted - this is the majority of the experiences women have had here, which is great. :) xxxx
