Doctor for review of Month 1 on new regime
« on: July 12, 2018, 06:27:35 AM »

Well it's Dday appointment at 8am with my doctor to review.

I am finding that I have 1 week a month where my anxiety is crippling.

I have definitely had improvement in my joints as now able to get off the sofa without hobbling like a old lady.
The brain fog is clearing and I'm not as snappy as I was.

For me I'm struggling with my tummy feeling off and nausea.Im also waking up with anxiety and Sleep disturbance is starting to creep back.Im also very emotional sometimes.

I've been trying to feel better for 2 years now.Im getting so down with it . all. I'm beginning to think I'm a hypochondriac

hi Birchers,

I understand the feeling of pinning your hopes on this being the doctor's visit where they hit on the right cocktail of meds to make these awful symptoms go (anxiety is the one I find hardest to deal with).

Just try to think that each doctor's visit is definitely taking you a step closer to feeling better and that there is light at the end of this tunnel. There are hundreds of examples of that on this site - that's one of the great things about this forum, reading all the success stories and seeing that perseverance wins in the end. Easier said than done sometimes I know but small comfort for you hopefully.

Good luck with the appt xx

Hi keep persevering. One month is a short time and I certainly hadn't seen much improvement after a month. It could take a bit longer for you to feel the full efffects. X

Doctor thinks I should increase my AD medication.

I asked about taking the Utrogestan vaginally and she said she needs to contact pharmacist to find out.She said not to do it that way until she gets the ok.

I'm so reluctant about increasing my AD from 15mg to 30mg as go on holiday in 2 weeks. Then part of me says if I don't try I won't know.
