Advice please
« on: May 07, 2018, 07:38:24 AM »

I saw my dr and she has suggested I try Testogel 1/4 of a sachet alternate days alongside my Femseven Conti patch and Estriol.
She only prescribed me one sachet to see how I get on.

How do I know how much to use? Is there anything I need to watch out for?
I've booked in with her again next week

It can take a few months to experience the beneficial effects of testosterone, so why your GP has prescribed only one sachet is a mystery. It would be more usual to prescribe a box of Testogel, which contains 30 sachets. The label on mine says one sachet is to last 7-10 days, although I was told at the menopause clinic to aim for 14 days, so I apply a large pea-sized blob daily. It took about two months for me to notice any benefits. You will find plenty of info on here.

You won't know if One sachet is helping you or not as it can take a few months to see any improvement. I have been using testogel sachets. I began with one sachet lasting 10 days and then upped it to one sachet lasting 7 days after a month. I'm now using Tostran as the testogel sachets are unavailable.
