You may be able to get a small quality depending on the pharmacy, another member managed to do it.  It's definitely worth trying several pharmacies.

You will find buying Lenzetto very easy, hope you like it after waiting all this time!  I'm still loving it after almost 10 weeks.

Hi MaryG that's good I'm going to try the testogel I feel as if that's the only part missing now and I get nowhere here with asking about tryouts no it with consultant or Gp.
My sisters in Spain just now so she's going to check the availability if lenzetto for me then I'll order on Friday when I'm there I'm looking forward to trying it as the oestrogel is a bit frustrating sometimes when I'm rushing.thank you xx

Thanks Mary G, that's very helpful. Makes sense too.
I'm grateful for the reply and you too Daisydot

Been a tough day, anxiety, dark mood, had to force myself to get on with everything. Very cross with myself as it was a BH so precious.
Don't know if it's related to the HRT, thought I would be more like this on the Progesterone phase.

Dreading work tomorrow as always very busy after a BH, I find it hard with the confident younger women there now. Always feel as if I have to prove myself more as the ageing menopausal one.
Isn't it strange how we beat ourselves up.

Apologies...I sound like a right moaning minny. Just need to go with the flow and the light will switch back on soon. Again thanks for the advice x

So now I'm confused. I went to see my GP today to ask if it would be ok to go down to Uterogestan 100mcg sequi instead of 200 along with the Estradot patches 37.5.
She said she'd never heard of it and was equally appalled I was using it pv due to side effects taking it orally.
I asked about an ultra sound scan so that the uterus lining could be measured and she said that it was not policy to refer for those.
She said carry on with 200mcg sequi or use 100 every day.
Whilst I'm over the moon the flushes have subsided from 8 an hour to just the occasional one, the anxiety levels have not changed. I'm beginning to wonder if I should continue as my GP (although lovely) has no clue about HRT.
I think it was Mary G who was really helpful before, and I also read about the Sequi method from Hurdity.
I'm 59 now so worried about possible problems, ( have had ovarian cysts/fibroids), cousin died of ovarian ca. It just seems if my GP can't keep a check on things, what confidence can I have that all is going as it should be.
Sorry, very rambling, apologies..but I think like a lot of other people on here I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Some GPs won't prescribe 'off record' even though it does help.  You could take advantage of sending a short e-mail to Dr Currie, details on here somewhere.  Or perhaps someone with more HRT knowledge will be along.

Thanks CLKD..if I don't hear from anyone I'll look up Dr Curries email service.
I'm wondering if I should carry on with HRT if my GP can't support me or offer an u/s scan in view of my past history.

Hi Kernow - you can have menopause scans at private clinics and some Mothercare stores offer this facility.

Hope this helps!

Kernow, your doctor really doesn't know much about HRT does she.  Did she explain why she was appalled at the idea of Utrogestan being used vaginally?

It is difficult to get uterine scans out of the NHS, they usually only agree to them if there is something wrong.  If I were you, I would take 100mg vaginally and arrange your own uterine scan.  As Jenna said, there are plenty of places to do them and they usually cost about £100.

To be honest, the only meaningful way to monitor you while on HRT is via a scanner, not from the other side of a desk.

Thanks Mary G..

I'm coming to realise that.  £100 is not too bad, but there are no centres down in this county so I'll do a bit of searching.

She actually laughed at me and said ‘What a ridiculous idea, who on earth told you you could do that, it's a capsule meant to take by mouth'.  I felt about 5 years old.
She implied that the capsule had probably dropped out without me realising it...I assured her it had not.

I asked her about the anxiety levels and she suggested Sertraline, but I really don't want to go down that route if I can help it.

Thanks for the advice, it's been really useful x
