Hi

I have just been prescribed Vagifem - have to insert daily for 2 weeks and then use twice a week.  Is it ok still to have sex during this time and on days when inserting it.   

generally not having intercourse all the time or anything but not set to either night time or mornings.  And what about oral sex ?   Didn't think to ask at appointment but if no-one has confirmed answer I could always check back with the clinic.   thanks in advance

Don't have sex soon after inserting the Vagifem as it needs to dissolve and absorb and you don't want your partner to get a hit of oestrogen ( even if it is a very small amount ) - so I usually allow at least 6-8 hours before having sex.

AS the Vagifem is inserted well into the vagina, you could probably have oral sex.  DG x
