Periwinkle - they are WRONG  :bang: :bang: :bang:

Yes I know, and that is exactly how I feel, banging my head against a wall.  I'm so tired of going to doctor after doctor and no one will help me.  I know I'm not imagining the way my body has gone haywire in the past 3 years, and it started right around the time I began having irregular periods.  It's all perimenopause, and they basically have proved it by running every other test known to mankind on me and finding nothing wrong.  I just keep searching for a doctor to help me.  Maybe one day I'll find one.

I hear you!   Maybe a chat with a Practice Nurse or your local Pharmacist, they have private rooms these days.  Ask him/her if some Surgeries are better at supporting Menopause than others?  Ask him/her to look up treatments 4 atrophy and take it along to the Nurse, or print off some of the comments on here?   This can be treated successfully.

I'm trying one more time with my general doctor tomorrow - if she won't help, I will try to find gynecologist that will help me.

Ask for a referral?   Your GP should be able to send you to a Consultant.

Yes, I will do that.  I am also printing out as much information that I can about the symptoms to show her that I'm not crazy, all of these symptoms can and do happen with women. Maybe not all, maybe not even the majority, but it does happen to some of us and it can be completely debilitating.

Hi sphere that's great after you do your initial two week dose you will feel a huge difference,I felt it within days I must have been like an old prune downstairs but the important thing was I had no more urinary symptoms don't look for problems give the vagifem a chance and continue to use lubricants so vagifem at night lubricants on outer areas during the day, something like yes or sylk or vagisil prohydrate are all good lubricants,it's trial and error to get one that suits.my gps will have to kill me now to get me off vagifem lol it's a lifetime task now VA doesn't go away it's just controlled.good luck and well done.xx
