Hi, it's awhile since I've posted on here,  but I'm now changing my hrt from a once weekly FemSeven Conti patch to Estrogel alongside 100 mg Utrogestan nightly.
I've plodded along on the conti patch for three years but I then felt I needed to increase the progesterone without increasing the estrogen, hence my decision to switch
However, I forgot to ask my doctor how I should implement this change so I hope someone here can help. Do I just take off my patch tomorrow morning and slap on the Estrogel, ( I don't really want to let my estrogen levels drop) followed by the Utrogestan at bedtime or do I need to let my system clear itself  of the levenorgestrel from the patch first? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

When I changed from tablets I just stopped tablets and started Oestrogel and utrogestan the following day.

Thank you Dotty, did all go well or did you get any problematic bleeding when you switched over?
I'm due to pick up my prescription from the chemist in the morning and have just seen the thread about Oestrogel  manufacturing problems.....😬

I have had some bleeding but that is to be expected in first few months.
