Changing from elleste duet to elleste conti
« on: January 14, 2018, 09:12:49 PM »

Hi
I'm looking for advice please , not had periods since I was 42 now 51 , but was struggling with joint pain , to the point where I couldn't sleep the night before it rained due to leg pains , feeling down and unhappy , things got so bad decided to go on hrt , went to doctors and was given elleste duet , these worked after two weeks , no pain , better moods , sleeping better but then had a very heavy painful period which lasted for 5 days , carried on taking the tablets and the same the next month , took them for the 3 months , then was due for review with the doctor . She swapped me to the elleste conti , but the leg pain and feeling of sadness has returned only been taking the tablets for two weeks also have severe breadt pain continually , has anyone any advice on these tablets , thank you in advance

Were you originally taking Elleste Duet 1mg or 2mg?

The conti has double the amount of oestrogen so that could be why you are having problems.
