Bladder gone into overdrive
« on: October 16, 2017, 04:12:09 PM »

Startted taking Livial again recently, also given vagifem, but cant stop having to dash to the toilet,
I have been getting uip twice in the night, and going about every hour in the day, and not just a trickle
Also feeling very tired,
I thought i should feel better now not worse, been taking livial daytime, but maybe should take at night
Nothing else seems too have changed, maybe early days yet, about 3 weeks in now

I don't see what difference the time of day would make to medication over-all.  Worth a try though and let us know?  I do find that the day after I use the VA treatment my bladder is extra 'busy' or irritated  ::)

Do make sure that you drink enough that your urine is straw coloured.  The kidneys will, particularly over-night, work harder if they are short of liquids.

I was meaning the time of day i take the livial might make a difference to being tired, during the day. Dr said they would help me sleep, so maybe taking it at night would be better,
As far as the bladder goes, maybe its the vagifem then, have been using every night, going on to the next stage tonight, might make a difference
Will update, thank you for your reply *CLKD*

Have you checked that you haven't got a urine infection? Pain is not always present  as we get a bit older. My surgery will let you drop a sample in for 'dip testing' just to check so maybe yours does too?

I had a urine infection a few weeks ago, which i thought was cystitis,  it took 2 lots of ABs to get rid of itwhich led to me having a scan and then being given livial and vagifem,
Didnt use a vagifem last night and didnt get up in the night so might have been that
I am still getting some itching tough, but no burning,i got some of that actigel and been using that, so will see how it goes,
I took my livial last night instead of morning  too, so will carry on and see if i sleep any better
Taking it in the morning seemed to make me tired in the daytime
Only had livial for just less than a moth so maybe not kicked in yet

ALL urine samples must be sent to a Lab., dip tests are reliably un-reliable ;-).

Those that suffer VA know that symptoms mimic urine infection-type feelings.
