Will it have really worked after 3 days?
« on: October 01, 2017, 08:09:07 AM »

Morning, I've just started taking Elleste solo 1 mg literally 3 days in. I've had weeks of sleepless nights because of night sweats, last night I didn't have one and only woke up briefly at 3am.

I slept through 10.30pm to 7am - first time in weeks!

Could it really have worked after 3 tablets.

Sounds amazing - I love sleeping  :D

I'm thinking the tablets would have started working once absorbed into your system so, I think, yes it's possible. I respond really quickly to the HRT I've used- guess some of us are just more sensitive.

Hope it continues for you.

I love my sleep too and I've actually been dreading going to bed over recent weeks.

Fingers crossed  :)

Absolutely!

It took 4 days for 1mg elleste solo to take my symtoms away but just be aware that symptoms 'could' return and you'd need to increase to 2mg, that happened to me by about week 2/3

Why not after 3 days?  If your body is lacking something and you are beginning to replace what it requires?  Many years ago I started anti-depressant which shouldn't have kicked in for 10-14 days, after 3 I began to feel well.  PHEW!

I just thought it would take a few weeks to get into my system. I'm not complaining though.

Last night I had another good night. No sweats but I did feel warm and woke up for while.

I have 3 packs of tablets, one a month. Do I just increase to 2 tablets if my symptoms come back or do I need to check with my Dr?

I was 32 when I was put on them and she didn't tell me about increasing but said to go back if symptoms return.  It was then she gave me the 2mg pills.  I had 13 totally symptom-free years on those x

Annie that's amazing that they worked for so long. I'm still extremely tired and my legs ache as though I've been on a 10 mile walk. But if I can sleep I'm hoping things continue to improve.

2mg is the max dose so you could try taking 2x1mg and see how you get on x

Hi Louby48

Yes it is possible, my hrt worked within 24 hours and with no side effects. I'll never forget that initial feeling of wellbeing it was like coming home and feeling like my old self again.  Glad you've found something that works for you, it's always niceto hear a good result x
