Hi anybody got any clue as what is going on I stopped periods 4/5 years ago not had many problems thank god palps,flushes aches n pains but copable last month on the 25th had a slight period just thought strange bang on time this month again it's only light n a day or so but please please tell me this won't mean got to start all over again

I think the general consensus is, if you have been bleed free for over 12 months and then get a bleed, you need to have a scan to see that all is ok but am sure that someone will be able to advise further, what a nuisance.

I know I am due a routine smear so I may book that then have a chat with the practice nurse cuz she is lovely it's just odd that it as returned like normal routine period that's what as got me, i give up wondering with menopause cuz I think it does what it likes lol x

Of you have bleed free for that length of time you really need to go and see your gp. He will more than likely send you for a scan to check your lining and for fibroids etc. This is just standard procedure nowadays though so try not to worry.

You definitely need to get this checked out as soon as possible. Any bleeding if you have had more than a year without a period has to be investigated. Let us know how you get on.
