Roseneath that's such a shame :'(  you know we are all different - some women can tolerate and some can't - some even have a resistance to estrogen. None of this I knew until I joined a few months back. It's a pity your GP didn't look at an alternative with you. I can't imagine what state I'd be in right now if I hadn't got sorted. I was convinced on a daily basis that something terminal was eating away at me and it just hadn't been discovered. Lots of nasty things going on and after coil went in it got worse. The women on here offered terrific advice and guidance as well as support. And things started to turn around. I don't genuinely hope this happens for you soon. But if it doesn't you'll need to think about your next step.
Take care xx

Thanks. You are lovely. Feeling brighter today on my first HRT free.  Slept well, headache gone, a little less worried.  I love this forum. Have found support and empathy here I never thought was out there. I am not going mad! What strikes me is how very lovely; bright, articulate, supportive all the ladies on here are. XX
