;D your teeth sound the same as mine, Mam never taught me to look after teeth.  Maybe our fear comes from the gas masks do you remember those god and the smell and taste of it. I go for checkups now though and look after them found a dentist who is so kind and did all my white fillings for me.  Can you go to a dentist there if it's bad?

I have a wonderful Dentist  :-* who really listens.  We have built up a working relationship - my implants need a lot of hard work with small brushes etc. and I'm not good with paste first thing in the morning  :-\ but I got a star last week at my appt.  ;D.  I do have a soft spot in a deep filling though .......

Get some oil of cloves Annieq and enjoy your break!  Anywhere near le Tour?

Well, the bruise disappeared! Literally, not a mark! I really need to leave things a while before I go posting. But this panic/anxiety is another menopause symptom.

And re the dentists. I never got the gas mask, I envied those who did get gas. Always injections for me. My dentist is great, her injections are painless, in most cases, and she is gentle, stops to check how I am doing. If only I had her as a child. The sore tooth  has settled, so fingers crossed.

My mother didn't have the time to check on our brushing, but my 17 year old has great teeth,  brushed from first one. Though, she has a small filling which annoyed me, as I was so meticulous and avoided sweet things for first 2 years of her life.  And so straight, as she got braces. But of course, she wants them whitened. Always something to make us unhappy!

Don't go for whitening as 'normal' teeth aren't naturally white but slightly yellow ........ a good toothpaste with gentle brushing should bring the front teeth up to their natural colour ;-).

Glad that the bruise has gone.  I trapped my calf in a van door today  :o but probably won't remember when the bruise appears  :D

... and yes, I remember the black, rubber masks for delivering ether ..........
