I feel an idiot walking into jewellery shops to try on rings. DIL has told me of two local jewellers to visit, not your big nationals. She used to work in one of them, so knows a thing or two about the good stuff. No, I wouldn't take her with me on a ring spree before anyone asks. Not that I don't trust her judgement, but feel it's something personal between hubby & I.
I'll know the ring when I see it. Would rather take my time over it. Hubby is a generous man, always has been, & has chosen some beautiful jewellery over the years for me without me even suggesting anything. Now all I have to do is get him into town. 😂
