I'm ok with magnesium - I think  :-\  I have Epsom salt bath couple times a week and on magnesium citrate couple times a week. But yes I know what you mean about waiting for next symptom to appear. I just need to bite the bullet and have MRI - doing home diabetes test first tomorrow. After that I'll go back to GP re MRI and then I will need to seriously look at anxiety.

DaisyB, I'm sorry you're having such a hard and stressful time. Stress can do some wacky things and add that to the the meno.  It's worth getting checked out for your peace of mind.

Did it again today and it was just over 6 - think I'll put it to bed girls. Bit the bullet - rang insurance company and asked for case to be reopened as I am now querying if I have damaged my neck in car accident I had at Xmas and I want an MRI - I explained I have tried every other test my GP has suggested and although it could be anxiety - pins and needles and weakness started 4 weeks or so after accident - I then rang my previous chiropractor and the new one and asked for them to compare X-rays before and after accident before I go to MRI hopefully this will sort it once and for all.  ;)  Must say I feel totally chilled. Started new CBD - my dad bought me a new brand in health shop from California. I'll post details on CBD thread x

I really think you got your first blood sugar test really wrong.

My hubby has Type 1 and when his levels drop as low as that he is really unwell. Sweats, confusion, dizziness. It's something that has to be addressed very quickly.....well in our house anyway otherwise I need paramedics to come and help.

Glad that you had a more normal result the second time.

MrsB - I used a wheel chart and it was def 2 - I felt shaky and the usual left side pins and needles all over arm and leg. But my mum said (auntie has type 2 diabetes) that her machine is much more accurate. The test also said not to let skin touch the test paper - just blood- but I couldn't get blood to drop by itself! So I scraped off side of my finger. All in all I think you are right! I've let it go - it was a hunch- and I have had so many theories in the last few months - I'm done now I've decided to have a final MRI on neck and leave it at that :-\

Sounds sensible.

sometimes we can make ourselves feel ill just worrying.

How are your parents now?

Hi breeze - dad re-admitted after an emergency meeting I'd requested with his consultant. He's much happier as this second treatment seems to be bringing his muscle strength back far quicker. Mum discovered yesterday it wasn't a heart attack! 2 junior Drs had assumed wrongly. Hence the reason for getting sent home so quickly! More tests to see why bloods were elevated but all in all both heading in a better direction this week. I am feeling like I've had no time for myself - parents talking about me taking them away again (for 3rd time lol) in as many months to south of England. I think I'm going to put that one on hold and concentrate ( whilst anxiety is non existent and I've a clear head) on getting myself sorted.

Wonder if you've considered Hemiplegic migraine? its really hard to get diagnosed, but those symptoms sound like how it can feel.

It can come with or without any headache and definitely gets worse at times of stress. Symptoms (Auras) can last 2 weeks or more.

just a thought if your MRI comes up negative...

CKLD - the brain I think and neck although not entirely sure?
Guernsey girl - yes I've been speaking to one of the girls in here about it.
Get MRI out out of the way  first and see what happens after that  :-\

No - my mum needs one on her heart - so found a place that specialised in state of the art MRI for anyone claustrophobic- holding off to next week so we can go together x

Oh that sounds good. Do you think there is a possibility of you both being done on the same day.
The sooner you have this done and get the results the better.

Hope it all works out for you.

I would have real difficulty in having the traditional MRI so I can sympathise with how you must feel.
