Dahliagirl thank you
I spoke to a gp earlier and they offered me an appt this afternoon.
She said the drop from the femoston 1/5 down to .5/2.5 even over just the 7 days could make me feel the way I did! And that in a couple of weeks the hormones should be back up and I will feel better. If not, to get back to her and she'll see me again. I feel reassured by this and the low tired mood that prompted me to reduce my hrt in the first place (!!!) - well maybe as you say that was driven by something else - there's always something!! Thank you again for the advice and kind words. Deeble x

If things don't improve a while after you have returned to the 1/5 then maybe consider my earlier suggestion of going back to a cycle so that you can minimise progestogens and at your age 1/10 would be the place to start.

Hurdity thank you and yes if things do not settle the 1/10 you suggest will be the next 'try' if necessary. I am very grateful for the advice.
Anxiety phases reducing in length over last two days. Mood helped with meditation and rest. Fingers crossed. Deeble x

Hi - in case anyone is going through something similar - to let you know I am 18 days! back on the 1/5 femoston conti. Anxiety had continued mostly high and pretty unpleasant up to now (stressful week too) but episodes of near- normal are getting more frequent and lasting longer and  I feel a real improvement this evening .. after a day of low stress. So - if anyone is going through high anxiety transitioning from different hrt types/strengths, then I hope the reduction albeit slowly of my darned anxiety will support/encourage. It's beginning to quieten .... x
