Joint pain
« on: April 23, 2017, 04:17:33 PM »

Hi I'm a new member, I'm 50 years old and think I'm peri menopausal. Although I still have periods they are all over the place but I'm more concerned about the joint pain  experiencing. Anyone out there got advice. My GP is not interested. Evy

Hello again Evy, I am glad you found the New Members thread and posted  :).

There are many ladies who have posted about the same problems you have and they will have some advice and suggestions for you, just be patient. They are a great bunch.

All I can say to you is that if your GP has shown no interest then it is time to talk to another GP in the practice as you should not be dismissed like that.  Menopause and hormonal issues need to be discussed with a doctor and you are being let down if they have hot listened to you.

we are glad you have joined too.  Stick around and browse round the different sections.  There is information in the green drop down menus at the top of the page too  :)
