Hair styles

As suggested by some others... ;)

I'll kick proceedings off with..

Today I will be getting rid of my unflattering " badger " look,  ( illness prevented last appointment!)
So colour with a few fine highlights to try to disguise the grey when it grows through and a good old shearing ,can't wait ! ;D

I'm debating whether to give up on hair dye. My grey reappears again within a week!

I had grown my hair but it was making me even hotter at night so I've recently had it cut shorter and am thinking of going shorter still but mine has some natural curl in it, so if I go too short it's unmanageable and I have to tame it with the hair straighteners!

Just had a cut today. Really needed it, my hair grows so quickly. Sharp shoulder length bob, had it for years. Had about two inches taken off so it's got a lovely swing to it again.

Am lucky enough to be blonde so the grey doesn't show. However, can I just say, I think the right colour of silver is absolutely gorgeous and foxy if the style is right. Embrace the silver vixen ladies x

If it's going grey in a week then you need to change the type of colour that you are using. Six weeks is the normal time before the grey comes back.
I'm dark but have come up a couple of shades as too dark is not flattering.

When I turned 40 I went blond. Don't know who was more shocked, hubby or me.  ;D

Since then I've become more sensible.

A good colour can make such a difference.

Going lighter does not mean going blonde. We are just talking a few shades lighter than your natural colour!

The lighter that my hairdresser showed me is what i would describe as blonde!

I gave up on hair colouring years ago. Now blonde/grey. Short pixie cut, though would love a variation. My hair just gets so thick. Brother & I both have thick, fine hair.

How can it be thick and fine at the same time, cubagirl?  :-\

I've started getting mine coloured at the hairdressers now, have a semi permanent plum colour which I like. I have a chin length bob with full fringe at the moment. Wish it wouldn't grow so fast though as the roots show so quickly. Have roots blur powder which helps

My hairdresser recently put me on to "Dark Oil", which adds shine and body.  No idea why it's called that; all I know is that it's based on cedarwood, sandalwood and argan oil.  It smells lovely and certainly makes my hair behave better.   (I haven't told Hubby that it costs about £30 a bottle..........!)   :)

Yep fine hair & loads of it. When it needs cutting it's get heavy.
