Balancing hormones
« on: March 22, 2017, 01:55:50 PM »

Hi everyone,
I had a very frustrating doctors appointment and wondered if you ladies could help. Background  is aged 45 peri had mirena fitted 10 months ago on 2 pumps of oestrogen. Went to doctors a few weeks ago because I've been getting left sided pain, general crampjng on bleeding on and off. Go sent me for a scan went back today for the results they said they couldn't see my left ovary and my right ovary was bulky. GP offered no explanation  for this and didn't seem concerned. She offered me a combine pill til i pointed out i couldn't have it due to migraines so she's given me noriday mini pill, to try and regulate the bleeding or stop it and told me to keep a diary for 3 months. But will this unbalance my hormones even more and lead to more menopause symptoms like hot flushes.
She didn't instill me with confidence as she asked me how i use the gel as she's never met anyone who had used it before

GPs seem to be on a learning curve too  >:(  ::)

I'm sure that someone will be along with advice.
