I too find mamagrams very painful......after my last one, I was called back very quickly , and they
Needed to do a scan. Needless to say I feared the worst
But it turned out to be a harmless cyst.
I am sure you would have heard by now if anything had showed up......

Thank you for your reply Ellie. Two weeks tomorrow since I had the test.
I'm trying to stay positive but I'm finding it very hard not to worry !!!

Hope you hear soon. My last mammogram was painful, though only uncomfortable before. Then I had to do it all over again as the brand new machine wouldn't work! Maybe didn't like the look of my 34E boobs! Then I was recalled, but all was fine in the end. Oh and at the hospital it didn't hurt as much.

At least that is behind you for the next 3 years
I had an awful one first time, so the next time I took paracetamol a couple of hours before, and nurophen plus half an hour before, and I am pretty sure I was bomb proof
Didn't feel a thing (although the operator was much better too)
