I am confused.... after an incident of spotting I was advised to stop hrt. I had been taking elleste duet the continuous one so no bleeds. I am definitely post menopausal. Anyway stopped the hrt, stopped the spotting. Have just been back to my Gp as the hot flushes etc have returned. She advised me to go back on the same tablet and see what happens!!!! Ok this will stop the flashes etc but should I have asked for further investigation or just as she said see what happens. Has anyone had any experience of stopping and starting the same hrt for spotting, did it come back? She didn't seem that knowledgeable, and I think the help on here is much more informative, so hoping someone has some advise.
