How long for hrt to take effect?
« on: April 03, 2017, 04:31:59 PM »

So I started Evorel conti last week, half a patch all I know so far is Ive had a few more short flushes than I had before and I had no other symptoms to get rid of.
I know I need to go to full patch for effect on bones but not sure when, and is there a way I can find out when my bone making system is turned back on again?
Incidentally why would I get more flushes on hrt than off?

I thought it odd was getting mini flushes but hey bodies are weird, especially mine.
I've had two scans on the same dexa machine and my dr really wants me to have another after a year but the NHS say 3.
I'd be happy to pay but it probably would be impossible to get the same machine rendering it all useless really. Especially as a dexa cannot measure quality just density as my case proves.

Hasty yes I'm just plucking up the courage to go to a full patch, I thought I would break my body in gently as I do react to stiff quite a lot.
