Is nausea a regular thing then in menopause?

I haven't really encountered it to this degree before.  It is very similar to 'morning sickness' feeling tho  - so I guess thats where the hormones come into it?

Great news about the all clear!

I reacted in the same way as you it seems. Stopped bleeding after two days then a few days later started spotting and feeling uncomfortable again. It did settle after a few days though.

I wouldn't panic, you've been prodded and poked and your body is just repairing. I always felt nauseous with my periods and have had spells of it with peri and a constant for many years with migraine. It seems to be very common in peri/meno. I'm sure you'll start feeling better soon. Have some of these...........

I'm sure you're right.  I've stopped bleeding now, and feel a lot less sick.

So.....! What I'm left with is an almost constant left sided backache, and I've now acquired a pain underneath my right side ribs    And I've got vaginal dryness/soreness too.

I'm such a moaning Minnie! I'm even boring myself these days 

I wonder whether its all to do with low oestrogen levels?  Anyway, I've made an appointment with my GP so I will go and bore him instead.  Thanks for all your kindness and patience ladies.  Much appreciated xxx
