I'm not fussed by a few smears and limescale stains in the grand scheme of things, nor dust or bits on the carpet although I do clean up after the dog - hairs and bits of grass from his paws - daily.  I'm not a slattern but not particularly house proud as my husband isn't fussed either.

We make things look nice when the family come so it is welcoming, but I dont know if they notice  :)

It will if you lie it flat on the top shelf.
Even in a slimline  dishwasher?  Will try it. Am about to book a guy to clean the oven.
