 Can HRT make your body smell bad?  I started Premarin in Oct,2016. Was also fighting bacterial vaginosis. I was getting a weird smell coming off my body and my hair smelled just like my skin. The BV had gone away but the smell lingers on.  My Gyno took me off of the premarin and put me on Vivielle. Now the smell is unbearable.  It smells like a cross between medicine and urine.  I can't stand to go to work anymore because it is so strong.  I can't wear perfume or lotions because the fragrances change instantly to a metallic smell.  I'm currently taking 1000 mg of Cinnamon and 500 mgs of Magnesium.  Heard these were good for body odor. Tried everything and about to lose what little of my mind I have left.  HELP ME LADIES!!!!!

  - have you asked those nearest and dearest what you actually smell like?  I have a thread here somewhere, I think it's called 'Oh Errrr' ..... I whiff but my husband says he doesn't notice any difference, we've been together since 1970 so he ought to know ;-).

You could go to an Undertaker and ask if they recognise an odour.  Some medication can cause the body to smell in the same way that some can cause a metallic taste in the mouth.  Was the vaginosis 'fishy'?  When I took The Pill all I could smell was garbage, it wasn't until I had stopped swallowing it that I realised that I hadn't smelt roses for 10+ years 

It is known that perfumes do alter during the month.  HORMONES    .  I'll bounce my thread ;-)
