I have a meno climic appt in jan so looking suggestions! I am on 4 pumps oestrogen gel.period comes like clockwork without needing the progesterone at all. full bleed 5 days all be it not as heavy as my periods have always been. ANd I am still ovulating.  SOoo how do I shut it down....pill? or is there anything I can do other than ride the storm. I feel sick all day every day and still anxious and low mood only thing I don't have is hot flushes anymore!  ALL advice welcome!!!

I can't remember if you have your uterus, if so you will need progesterone.

Nausea is awful.  I had it when I took Tamoxifen a drug which almost killed me. 

Nausea can also be caused by the body being hungry - are you eating often 'enough'?

I think there was a thread recently started by Gypsy Rose Lee. She's currently on a regime similar to yours. I think Prof Studd has recommended Zoladex.

Or the pill of course, I think Zoeley or Qlaria are suggested for peri as of the bio identical oestrogen.

They can shut your ovaries down using zolidex implant. If that doesn't work there is a nasal spray called buserelin. My issue was also no flushes but anxiety, tears and burning skin. It is not an easy journey either so I would ask lots of questions  and advice before making a decision x
