Slightly in limbo at the moment because Hubby's just retired and I'm jumping through another hoop in July so we haven't thought about holidays yet.

We're planning a long weekend in Oxford (we're going to stay at The Randolph!), and a trip to France to have a few days in Disneyland (we love it - we call it the Happy Place) and a few days visiting the Normandy beaches.  Other than that, we'll have most weekends and at least one full week at our caravan on the East Coast.

Majorca in May, back to same hotel as last year, but found the prices have increased quite significantly this year.  Then a City break maybe in Oxford or Edinburgh in September.

Booked our holiday yesterday. 1 week in Jersey for our 40th Anniversary, at beginning of September.  Neither of us fancied long haul. In fact doubt we'll ever go long haul again.  Not so bad if you can afford business class possibly, but economy is so uncomfortable on long journeys.

We're in the process of sorting out our holiday for this summer.  DH is 50 and wanted to celebrate it in Fuerteventura (our favourite holiday destination).  He also wanted to include his family in Holland so we have booked a massive villa (sleeps 18) and will be joined by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 wife, 4 kids (quite grown up), my son and hopefully my sister and her partner for at least a long weekend.  The logistics of it all have been giving us headaches but it all seems to be falling into place now 8)

Nice post.  We're going to the Champagne region of France in May, Sicily in June and Australia (Sydney & Gold Coast) to visit our stepson in November.  Holidaying has got to be our favourite thing these days.  Lots of places to go before we get too old to travel x
