Maine probably August or September to meet new grandchild due in July. Have vague plans to go to Sweden, but hadn't planned to go to the USA next year. Depends on finances.

I have already provisionally planned a return to Bologna in Sept for 1 week to practise my Italian with a friend. We do a half day course. Will book it once i have got my oncoming hospital appointments out of the way.  For my main summer trip, I am considering Latvia/Lithuania or Romania.

Not sure. 40th wedding anniversary next September. I've said I don't fancy long haul journey, but do fancy very posh hotel.

No plans yet but I can't manage more than 4-4.5 hrs on plane so it won't be anywhere as adventurous as you lot.

Lots next year as we both have special birthdays  :)  New Forest in March, Kent in April/May, Northumberland in June, London in September and London again in November for the Remebrance service, making a long weekend of it.

Can't wait for the Holidays 2018 thread.  If all is well we are going to Canada, stopping off in Iceland en route  :gym:

Just realised next year will be our 40th wedding anniversary so maybe we could do something special.

Munich in May and Lago Majore in July. That's all I know for now. My sis wants a joint holiday somewhere midway (Canada - Europe) plus it has to be beach holiday so not sure where and when  8)
