Hello nearly50.

I thought I would chime in and say my periods didn't lessen at all until they stopped suddenly never to return. At 49 I  was diagnosed with a fibroid and told the menopause was near however I actually continued to menstruate regularly for another 5 years and then despite adding HRT the fibroid shrunk. I get the horrible dreams too.

I think one of the reasons this forum is so helpful is because many of us deviate from the norm and we can reassure each other that all is well.
