Well ladies I have at last been  I never want to be that bad again. Thankyou for all your helpful advice. This forum is great. It took about 4 days after having prunes,drinking loads,Laxido sachets from the doctor(mainly to start things going),ducolax etc. One thing that helped a lot was Sea Buckthorn omega 7 oil capsules. It is good for a lot of things but expensive. Thanks again x

That's great Michelle, hope you didn't block up the loo! Lol  I'm still waiting for the prunes to work. I'll have another five or six of them tonight with some custard.

Surprisingly it wasn't difficult to go. I spent most of Tuesday going though I am carrying on with prunes,drinking lots etc as from today.

I am thinking of trying the sea buckthorn - it is supposed to help dry bits (which I have plenty of) so I have thought about it off and on - but it is expensive

I'm sure the sea buckthorn really helped. It loosens mucus. I paid £25 though and will only last a month x
