Hi butterfly286

Personally I would not double the number of sachets without your doctor's sanction - was it suggested you increased gradually? - and what was the reason for changing from Femoston 1/10? It may take you a while to adjust to a new mode of delivery of HRT so I would hang in there for a bit longer. By the way you continue to take the gel every day even when you take the utrogestan - you don't change to utro if you see what I mean - it is in addition to the gel.

if you doc does suggest an increase after a while then do it gradually eg half a sachet increase over a couple of weeks, and then a whole one - better to increase in small increments to minimise side effects.

Sorry I can't really help with the symptoms as I don't remember these - or if I had them didn't know what they were as I wasn't aware of peri-menopause until I started missing periods and thought it was just flushes and sweats so ignored anything else!

It also depends where you are in menopause since if your are peri-menopausal your own hormones will be rising and falling erratically and can lead to some of the symptoms you describe. Eventually you should feel better overall though so don't despair, and hope you feel much better soon :)
