Hi precious4 - lovely to have you with us.

You say that your Doc has told you that in Aus they don't do HRT anymore. I think you have been fibbed to. You have a Menopausal Society over there which does mention HRT so don't be put off. http://www.menopause.org.au/for-women

It sounds as if you would benefit from some HRT which is usually great at getting rid of flushes and aching. Your lack of sleep is probably contributing to your headaches and neck pain too not to mention your "state of confusion".

Hi and welcome precious4
You have been fobbed off by your doctor - the cancer risk below the age of 60 is extremely small but the benefits of HRT for the bones and heart for the long term are extremely good.  HRT is now considered the appropriate treatment for your meno symptoms.
Have a look at the info on this site and the NHS website where the new guidelines are clearly set out - print them off if need to show your GP and basically insist you try HRT to see if it helps.

Good advice from Dancinggirl. Maybe the Australian authorities see it differently though so hopefully there will be information on the Australian Menopause Society site too. Don't give up precious4
